Semarang, 21/07/22 – Hari pertama sekolah telah tiba! BINUS SCHOOL Semarang menyambut hangat BINUSIAN pada Selasa, 19 Juli 2022. Sekolah terbaik di Jawa Tengah telah resmi dibuka. BINUS SCHOOL Semarang memulai Tahun Ajaran baru 2022/2023 dengan ditandai dengan moment gunting pita peresmian di area lobby gedung A. Ratusan siswa dan orang tua hadir di hari pertama sekolah dibuka. Mereka begitu antusias dan bahagia melihat upacara peresmian gunting pita hari pertama BINUS SCHOOL di kota Semarang. Upacara yang tentunya diawali dengan menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan indonesia raya dan himne BINUS SCHOOL Education.
Sebagai angkatan pertama di Tahun Ajaran baru ini, pelopor adalah kata yang paling tepat bagi siswa siswi yang ikut ambil bagian pada sejarah berdirinya BINUS SCHOOL ada di Jawa Tengah. Siswa-siswi mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan yang telah disiapkan oleh Tim Akademik sekolah seperti Microsoft Team Training sebagai salah satu tools Belajar secara online dirumah, Parent Sessions yaitu salah satu kegiatan mengenal profil sekolah, dan Tree Planting sebagai rangkaian peresmian gedung sekolah dengan menanam pohon di area sekolah.
“BINUS SCHOOL Semarang sudah menyiapkan program kurikulum yang telah diintegrasikan dengan teknologi modern seperti Virtual Reality (VR) & Artificial Intelligence (AI), kami sangat siap mengajak BINUSIAN untuk membangun masa depan bersama kami. Sekolah kami menyambut hangat orang tua siswa, dan siswa siswi kami yang akan belajar disini mulai dari jenjang Pra TK, SD, SMP & SMA. Mereka kami juluki BINUSIAN!” ujar Elsie L. Bait selaku Kepala Sekolah BINUS SCHOOL Semarang.
On Tuesday, 19 July 2022, BINUS SCHOOL Semarang received its pioneering batch of students, 127 – strong, on site! To formally welcome them and to mark the beginning of the academic year, a short ceremony was held at the Lobby of Building A. The atmosphere was festive as students alit from their vehicles with their parents looking ready to begin their learning journey as BINUSIANs.
There were photo-taking opportunities preceding the event, and parents, teachers and students a like used photo-booth frames that projected pride in their new home for-learning. The School’s Bee mascot also made an appearance.
During the Opening and Welcome Ceremony, the teachers sang the BSE Song and Ms. Elsie L Bait, the School Principal, gave words of welcome. In her message, she encouraged the students to do their best to learn and to grow to be compassionate leaders who are ready to serve and build their country. She also reminded them to keep themselves healthy so that they can do more and engagemore in the many learning opportunities at school.The event was capped by a ribbon cutting ceremony where the School’s Executive Committee was joined by students from the elementary to high school years. A burst of confetti signalled the end of the short event.
From the Lobby, students were ushered to their rooms by their Homeroom Teachers where they
began with team building and orientation activities. We wish our students all the best as they embark on a journey of life-long learning with BINUS SCHOOL Semarang!
