BINUS SCHOOL Semarang | ACADEMIC STREAMING FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Starting on 24 January 2023, the high school students at BINUS SCHOOL Semarang were streamed into their chosen academic stream. Students had the option of choosing either the Social Science or Natural Science stream. This decision, which would determine their focus of study for the remainder of high school, was made to help students keep up with the fast-paced and challenging academic environment that high school presents.

The school advised students to carefully choose a stream based on their academic performance in their first semester, as well as their intellectual potential and career aspirations as evidenced by the Skills and Aptitudes Assessment (SAA) results. Parents and students were advised to carefully consider their decision, as it would have a significant impact on the students’ academic performance and level of challenge throughout high school.
