BINUS SCHOOL Semarang | Alumna Inspires BINUSIAN Students to Thrive in High Schoo

On Friday, March 17, 24 BINUSIAN High School 10th grade students had the opportunity to speak with a successful alumna during a session titled, “Surviving and Thriving in High School: An Alumna’s Story.” The session was set up to help the students understand the challenges they might face in high school and how to deal with them. The alumna, who spoke for about 20 minutes, shared her own experiences and talked about the importance of discipline in school, including attendance and punctuality. The alumna emphasized that discipline in school is crucial for developing personal discipline instudy habits, goal setting, and working towards one’s goals. She spoke from the heart and occasionally switched to Bahasa Indonesia to drive her points home. After her inspiring speech, Ms Heny facilitated a question and response session. The students were able to interact with the alumna by asking questions and reacting to her insights. The session was a success, and the students were inspired by the alumna’s story. They learned that with discipline and perseverance, they can overcome challenges and thrive in high school. The alumna’s story was a testament to the power of hard work and determination. The renewed sense of purpose and the confidence to succeed in high schooland beyond.
