BINUS SCHOOL Semarang | Parent’s Seminar

On the 17th of March 2023, our parents had a chance to learn and develop their skills in discussing sexuality education with their children. The seminar titled “From Awkward to Empowering: How Parents Can Navigate Conversations About Sex Education with Their Children” is aimed at empowering parents to have effective and open conversations about sexuality with their children.The seminar is conducted to increase parents’ understanding of the importance of accurate information on sexuality health and create a supportive environment for them to discuss their concerns and receive guidance from experts. The speaker, Ibu Elisabeth, is the director of PKBI Semarang (Perkumpulan Keluarga Berencana Indonesia) and has extensive experience in sexuality education.

As parents, it is essential to discuss sexuality education with their children openly and honestly. This seminar aims to provide parents with the necessary skills and knowledge to do so successfully. By increasing their understanding of accurate and reliable information, parents can effectively pass it on to their children.
