STORY-TELLING CONTEST

A.     RULES OF COMPETITION

1. Participants are children age 5-12 year olds
2. The competition is attended by individuals, each participant is only allowed to represent him/herself.
3. Participants must be ready in place 15 minutes before starts.
4. Participants may not leave the competition venue during the competition (except to go to the toilet).
5. Participants are not allowed to be assisted by other people during the competition.
6. Finalists and/or winners will be announced after the competition is complete each round.
7. Participants draw lottery numbers before the competition starts.
8. If the participants whose turns it is to appear is not present up to 3x (three) calls, they will be called back at the end of the participant’s display session.
9. The language used in Story Telling is: Indonesia or English for 5-7 year olds; and English for 9-12 year olds.
10. Participant of 5–7 year olds will retell their favorite story of fable maximum for 10 minutes and participant of 9–12-year-olds will retell their favorite Indonesian Folktale maximum for 15 minutes.
11. Each participant is required to submit the copy of the story that will be presented to the committee H-2 through email at semarang-admissions@binus.edu
12. Participants are required to prepare 2 (two) stories. The second story will be shown if participants qualify for The Grand Final Round.
13. Delivery of Story Telling will be done onsite at the respective venue.
