Expansion of Extracurricular Activities at BINUS SCHOOL Semarang

In an innovative move, the Middle and High School of BINUS SCHOOL Semarang has introduced a diverse range of co-curricular clubs for its students this academic year. This marks a significant milestone for the school as it offers students an array of programmes beyond the regular elective activities.

Among the newly established clubs are Javanika – a cultural heritage club, BINUS Hive Tribune – the MSHS journalism club, The Silver Tongues – a public speaking club, BINUS SCHOOL Semarang Band – a jazz and pop musical band, and STEM Circle – the school’s Science and Maths club. Membership to these clubs was granted through a selection process and invitation by the teachers, ensuring a motivated and passionate cohort. These clubs’ sessions, which do not coincide with the regular electives held on Thursdays, greatly enrich the students’ overall educational experience.

Moreover, this year marks the start of a student-led club, the Nihon Club, which focuses on cosplay, adding a unique and creative dimension to the school’s extracurricular landscape. These additions not only emphasize the school’s commitment to holistic education but also provide a platform for students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and foster a sense of camaraderie within the school community. With these exciting developments, BINUS SCHOOL Semarang continues to nurture well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also culturally aware and socially skilled.
