STEM Festival 2023: Where STEM Meets Entertainment at BINUS SCHOOL Semarang

On September 14, 2023, BINUS SCHOOL Semarang hosted STEM Festival 2023, blend of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics with the world of entertainment dubbed as “STEMtertainment”. The event aimed to explore STEM’s role in entertainment and foster creativity and innovation among Early Childhood to High School students.

The festival featured a variety of activities for different grade levels: STEMtertainment Trivia (MSHS), Kinder-Tech Adventure Land (ECY), FUN-tastic STEM (EL), STEMagical World (EL), IG Reels for Real (MS), Mathematics Quiz Show (HS10), STEM Zone (HS11), STEM-tified: A Career Talk (MSHS). Data Scientists, Car Drifter, Vlogger, Theatre Actor and Director, Coding Expert, and the
CEO of a Web Developer Company also graced the occasion.

STEM Festival 2023 was not just an event; it was a gateway to understanding the creative and innovative forces behind the magical world of entertainment. It was evident that STEM extends far beyond textbooks and laboratories it is a powerful force shaping the experiences that enrich our lives. Students left inspired, with a
