ECYEL and MSHS Bees Buzz

BINUS SCHOOL Semarang’s annual Bees Buzz event, held from 4th to 7th December, was a resounding success, bringing together students from ECY to HS for a three-day extravaganza of learning, creativity, and well-being.

The event kicked off with a vibrant water-themed adventure for the youngest learners, featuring bubble play, bubble science, sponge relay, fishing, water painting, bottle cap painting, and water wars. These activities not only brought smiles and laughter but also introduced eco-conscious water management practices, as leftover water was used to nurture the school’s greenery.

Middle and Senior High School students showcased their interdisciplinary projects, fostering creative expression and confidence. The HS11 students presented a captivating short drama, “Burung-burung Manyar,” set against the backdrop of Indonesia’s Military Aggression II. The MS7 students impressed with a unique presentation featuring role play, speeches, pencak silat, and Malay song singing to introduce Pulau Belitung. HS10 and MS8 students contributed to the creative showcase with a dance presentation from their PE lesson, while the BINUS Singers Club collaborated with HS10

students for a Mandarin song performance.

To promote teamwork, communication, and critical thinking, students engaged in a series of house-based games and collaborative initiatives, including volleyball, basketball, and “hunt the chicken down.”

Throughout the event, students also participated in engaging activities that promoted fitness, relaxation, and a positive school-life balance, aligning with Bees Buzz’s commitment to well-being.

Bees Buzz 2023 was a testament to BINUS SCHOOL Semarang’s dedication to providing a holistic and engaging learning environment for its students. The event fostered a sense of community, encouraged creativity, and promoted the importance of well-being, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated.
