3 Years of Growth: Celebrating Health, Sustainability, and Learning at BINUS SCHOOL Semarang

Semarang- September 2025 – BINUS SCHOOL Semarang marked its 3rd anniversary with a day full of energy, purpose, and community spirit with a Fun Run, STEM Festival, a Zero Waste Bazaar and concluded the completion of a library for SD Syahidin under the Adopt-a-School program.
On 9 September 2025, BINUS SCHOOL Semarang’s 3rd anniversary celebration kicked off with a Fun Run involving all students, promoting healthy lifestyles and community bonding in line with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, and continued with a STEM Festival themed ‘Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies,’ showcasing almost 40 students’ science-based projects that nurtured both mental and physical wellness.
The event continued with a Zero Waste Bazaar initiated by our Parent Support Group by inviting 10 tenants, encouraging eco-conscious choices and reducing single-use waste to reflect our commitment to SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
Before the day ended, we launched the newly renovated library of SD Syahidin, as part of our Adopt a School programme. This renovation symbolizes our ongoing commitment to support SDG 4: Quality Education and equity beyond our own campus.
Ms. Elsie, BINUS SCHOOL Semarang Principal, stated “as BINUS SCHOOL Semarang marks its 3rd anniversary, we celebrate our growth into a future-ready community built on SPIRIT values, nurturing both academic excellence and character. With our first graduating class achieving remarkable scholarship success and our continued embrace of innovative, technology-driven learning, we remain committed to empowering students and making a lasting impact in Semarang and beyond.”
With all of these initiatives, BINUS SCHOOL Semarang reaffirms that the future of schools is not only about academic excellence but also about shaping healthy, sustainable, and inclusive communities.
