Celebrating Culture and Building Connections at Mooncake Festival 2026

BINUS SCHOOL Semarang took part in the Mooncake Festival 2026 at PO Hotel Paragon, Semarang. Organised by the Association of Chinese Mainland Investors in Central Java, the premium gathering brought together nearly 1,000 Chinese expatriates and business owners from across Central Java.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, our Primary students presented a Javanese contemporary dance, showcasing the richness of Indonesian culture to the audience. Four Secondary students also took part in a mini talkshow, sharing their experiences at BINUS SCHOOL Semarang and how they learn and grow in a multicultural school environment.

Throughout the event, the BINUS SCHOOL Semarang booth welcomed five families who came to learn more about our school and explore the learning opportunities we offer. More than 300 Mandarin-language flyers were also distributed to visitors.

“Participating in the Mooncake Festival gave us a meaningful opportunity to connect with the Chinese business community in Central Java and introduce the BINUS SCHOOL Semarang experience to a wider audience. We were also happy to have our students take part through their performances and sharing session, showing how our school provides opportunities for students to learn, communicate, and appreciate different cultures,” said Ms. Vika, Marketing Manager of BINUS SCHOOL Semarang.

The Mooncake Festival provided a valuable platform for BINUS SCHOOL Semarang to build connections with the Chinese business community across Central Java while introducing our students, learning environment, and multicultural school experience.
