BINUS Young Leaders Summit: A World in Motion: Future Leaders with Vision

Four of our grade 10 students: Rinoa, Kenneth, Lorenz, and Elizabeth joined the Binus Young Leaders Summit in Jakarta this week.

They collaborated with schools from Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines to discuss, debate, and present solutions to global issues such as E-waste management, food insecurity, AI art and plagiarism, the grey economy, and bonded labour.

The students used their research, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity to uncover root causes for these global problems and to create local, meaningful, and impactful solutions to mitigate them. In the end, our very own Kenneth Sugiarto won the “best mixed-team presentation” award!!!

The week was rigorous, but fun as well. Ideas were shared and bonds of friendship were formed.

Our students truly have become global citizens actively contributing to make the world a better and safer place. We are so proud of their efforts and accomplishments.
