Kinara: A Changemaker from BINUS School Semarang who Took the TEDx Stage

Solo, August 2025– Kinara, a 10-year-old student from BINUS SCHOOL Semarang, has proudly represented Indonesia’s young changemakers by speaking about  “Small Voices: Big Impact” at TEDx UNS Tower: AMA. 

Kinara Seto, a young changemaker from BINUS SCHOOL Semarang, stood confidently on the TEDx UNS Tower: AMA stage to deliver her talk titled “Small Voices: Big Impact.” Through her message, she inspired the audience by reminding them that even an ordinary person—no matter how young—can help change the world for the better. 

At BINUS SCHOOL Semarang, stories like Kinara’s are not a coincidence; they are nurtured. The school prides itself on fostering a learning environment where every student’s voice matters. Whether through academics, the arts, sports, or public speaking, each BINUSIAN is encouraged to discover their strengths and use them to make a positive impact.

Supported by teachers and mentors who believe in her potential, she embraced the challenge with enthusiasm. For her, education is not only about learning facts, but also about shaping character, building confidence, and empowering young minds to take on the world.

Kinara added,  “Speaking on the TEDx stage was a dream come true. I wanted to remind everyone that making an impact isn’t about how old you are  but it’s about believing in your message and having the courage to share it.”
