BINUS SCHOOL Semarang Business Immersion Programme: A Global Learning Journey to Singapore

BINUS SCHOOL Semarang continues to provide meaningful learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. One of these initiatives is the Business Immersion Programme: Global Learning Journey-Insights into Singapore’s Business and Finance Education. This programme took place on 22-26 March 2026, offering students a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to Singapore’s dynamic and globally recognised business environment. 

During the programme, students visit Curtin University Singapore and University of Singapore Social Science (SUSS) where they have the opportunity to learn more about higher education pathways related to business and finance. These visits allow students to explore various academic programmes, interact with faculty members, and gain insights into how universities prepare students for careers in the global business world. By gaining exposure to actual business operations and industry practices, students develop a deeper understanding of how theories learned in the classroom are applied in professional settings. This experience helps bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application. 

“The immersion in Singapore enhanced my leadership, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial skills by allowing me to experience daily life, such as commuting and building connections with locals. Navigating public transport developed my independence, adaptability, and decision-making skills, which are essential for leadership. Interacting with locals improved my communication and cultural awareness, helping me understand different perspectives.” said David, one of the Grade 12 students.
